NALA is expanding its impact and is looking for experienced leaders to help us grow and streamline our impact!
NALA, an internationally recognized expert in the fight to eliminate neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), is looking for a deputy CEO. NTDs impact more than 1.5 billion people worldwide, disproportionately affecting rural and high-poverty populations with the least access to clean water and sanitation. These diseases include intestinal parasites and blinding trachoma, which can cause cognitive impairment and long-term disability. NALA’s innovative and community-based solutions have led to a sustainable reduction in the prevalence of NTDs in project areas. NALA’s added value lies in our focus on innovation and our hands-on approach to operations.
Over the last two years, NALA has experienced tremendous growth in our operations, resources, and scope of work. We currently run both community-based programs and technical support projects in four regions of Ethiopia. This growth trajectory is expected to continue in the coming years, with the aim of expanding within Ethiopia. as well as beyond. The Deputy CEO will join the management team, and he/she will lead the operational side of the organization. The Deputy CEO will be responsible for leading effective growth at NALA by streamlining internal processes and communications as well as maintaining our innovative edge.
