Birhanu comes to NALA with almost 9 years of experience in the field of public health, following his Masters in General Public Health from Jima University. He has worked for the government as a Health Extension Program supervisor, WASH coordinator and Woreda planning coordinator, in addition to acting as a technical advisor for health system strengthening in the SNNP region. 

 

Birhanu speaks over 4 local languages, and has aided NALA in the translation of materials. He is excited to be part of the NALA team as WASH-NTD Coordination officer in the Werabe region.
