Asmro has more than nine years’ work experience in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), NTD and management in other communicable disease prevention projects in governmental organizations, MSF-Holland, Amhara Development Association (ADA), World Vision Ethiopia and The Carter Center Ethiopia. He was a member of various management committees when he was working at government health institutions and ADA. He was also a focal person for epidemic management at MSF-Holland and government health institution.  
In addition to this, Asmro has delivered ToT trainings on sanitation marketing, business plan development, CLTSH and Behavioral Change Communication for health professionals, private operators, teachers, etc.  
Asmro hold Master’s degree in Public Health from University of Gondar and BSc degree in Environmental Health from Haramaya University.
